Frequently asked questions about Seemoto

Pharmacy shop - I have bought a new pharmacy, how do I get Seemoto to go with me?

When the pharmacy deal is completed and the old pharmacy is using Seemoto , it will be time to agree on the continuation of Seemoto When the date of the sale is known, it is advisable to contact Seemoto customer service in good time (e-mail seemoto. Our customer service representative will contact the parties concerned, suggest the best solution for each case and support them in the practical aspects of the Seemoto transfer.

  • Optimally, a pharmacy transaction should be handled in such a way that the system in the old pharmacy is left there (if the new pharmacist adopts Seemoto) and the new system is delivered to the new pharmacy (if it is not already there). Seemoto will help with this arrangement.
  • It is therefore possible to transfer the Seemoto directly from the old pharmacy to the new pharmacist as it is. In this case, only possible changes to the system and user data are identified.
  • If the new pharmacist does not continue with Seemoto and the equipment has been rented, it must be returned to the Seemoto address. If the equipment has been purchased and is no longer needed, it can still be returned to us and we will ensure that it is properly recycled.
I am about to retire, how can I terminate Seemoto?

Seemoto does not show temperatures, what do I do?
Although Seemoto has proven to be a very reliable system and the reliability of communication between the wireless sensors is very high, except in exceptional circumstances, sometimes problems can still occur. Seemoto will help, but there are a few simple things you can do yourself before contacting them.

Seemoto communicate wirelessly with the base station. Normally, the connection will work reliably after the devices have been installed in good locations according to our instructions. However, it is possible that the connection will be momentarily lost. There can be several reasons for this.

The wireless short-wave signal does not pass properly through liquid, metal or heavy structures. It travels primarily by reflection through walls. From room to room, it is most likely to pass through doorways and passageways or through structures between rooms, such as electrical wiring. Humans are essentially fluids and if, for example, two people are left chatting in a convenient place in front of a fridge, the sensor's connection to the base station may be momentarily lost.

In the main view, each item shows how long it has been since the last transmission from that device. If it has been less than an hour since the last transmission, then no action should be taken. Most likely the sensor will come back online on its own. If the sensor has been off line for e.g. two hours, you should check if there is an explanation for this.

The first thing to check is:
- the sensor has not come loose from its backing plate
- the sensor has not strayed to the back of the fridge
- no products have been packed onto the sensor (always leave a few centimetres of empty space around the sensor)
- the base station is connected to the power supply and no products have been packed in front of it

If you find an explanatory factor for the disconnection, please fix it. At the same time, it is also worth disconnecting the sensor from the backplane for one minute. You can do this even if you do not see a clear cause. The sensor does not have a separate power switch, but it does have a magnet on the backplate that acts as a kind of power switch. The sensor checks for the presence of the magnet every minute. So if you disconnect the sensor from the backplate and immediately reconnect it, it will not notice that it has been disconnected at all. The sensor will flash a red LED in the upper right corner when it detects disconnection from the backing plate. Then, when you push the sensor back onto the backplane, it will flash a green LED within 15 seconds if it is connected to the base station, or a red LED if it is not responding to the base station.

Note that it takes a while for the sensor to send all the measurements stored in its internal memory. Especially if the sensor has been off-line for a longer period of time. So if you see the sensor flashing a green LED to indicate that it is connected, do not worry even if the measurements do not appear Seemoto immediately afterwards.

Below is a YouTube tutorial video on the most common glitches and more detailed instructions on what you can do to fix them yourself. By following the instructions, you will ensure the reliability of your system.
