Wireless temperature sensor monitors the storage of medicines
Seemoto wireless temperature sensor is suitable for monitoring the temperature of all pharmaceutical products during storage and preservation in a pharmacy. The temperature sensor works in the shop floor, prescription boxes, medicine boxes, coolers and refrigerators. If required, it can also be placed in the freezer.
Temperature sensor and monitoring system
Most commonly used wireless The TS (Temperature Sensor) is a small battery-powered device. The TS sensor only measures temperature and is completely waterproof by design. The dimensions of the temperature sensors are 71 x 37 x 12 mm without backplate and 97 x 62 x 12 mm with backplate.
Wireless Seemoto TS sensor
The Seamless Wireless Temperature Sensor is shown without the backplate. As such, the device is not activated and therefore does not measure temperatures.
Wireless Seemoto TS sensor activated
A seamless wireless temperature sensor is shown attached to its backplate. The activated temperature sensor measures and transmits temperatures every 5 minutes.
A Seemoto wireless temperature sensor is also available, which measures not only temperature but also relative humidity (THS = Temperature Humidity Sensor). The device is almost identical to the TS, except that the nameplate says THS and there are small vents behind the sensor, through which the air space of the sensor is ventilated and the humidity sensor on the sensor's circuit board can measure the humidity of the outside air.

The data measured by the sensors are transmitted Seemoto via the base station device. The base station operates either via a mobile phone network or the pharmacy's Internet connection. Normally, one base station is sufficient to serve all the sensors in the pharmacy. In cases where the pharmacy premises are on two floors, a separate base station may be required on each floor to ensure functional connectivity.
Seamless WGW base station
The WGW base station, which operates on a seamless mobile network, is small and can be easily installed on a wall, for example. Supplied with a SIM card and ready to use. Base stations of already installed systems may look different from the picture below. The base station measures 105 x 65 x 17 mm.
Seamless EGW base station
Seemoto EGW base station takes advantage of the pharmacy's Internet connection. The device can be connected in two different ways: 1. The Ethernet cable is connected directly to the pharmacy's data network or 2. The EGW base station can be placed on a desk, on top of a cabinet or mounted on a wall. The dimensions of the base station are 132 x 115 x 27 mm.
Use of the service
Measurement data from the Seamless Temperature Sensors can be viewed in a simple to use service view using a standard internet browser. The service is logged in with your user name and password.
